Part Time Night Neuro RN

Join a dedicated nursing team providing specialized patient care in a Neuro/Pulmonary Stroke Unit. Role Overview: Utilize the nursing process to deliver comprehensive patient care, ensuring patient rights and confidentiality. Coordinate with interdisciplinary teams, evaluate care effectiveness, and maintain professional accountability while aligning with organizational standards and values. Key Details Position: Neuro RN/GN, 24 hours per week, night shift, in a neuro-pulmonary stroke unit. Sign-On Bonus: Graduate Nurse $10,000; Experienced Nurse $13,000. Unit Focus Care for patients with pulmonary conditions like COPD, respiratory failure, asthma, pneumonia, and complex interventions such as high flow oxygen, BiPAP, tracheostomies, and chest tubes. Collaborate closely with stroke care teams, monitor for subtle neurological changes, and provide patient education on stroke management. Tele-neuro services may be utilized. Qualifications Graduate from an accredited nursing program (Associate's, Diploma, or BSN).Valid RN license in the state or compact licensure, with ongoing compliance to licensing requirements.Basic Life Support (BLS) certification through the American Heart Association or completed within 30 days of hire.
