Part Time Night Neuro RN

This role involves utilizing the nursing process to provide comprehensive patient care, ensuring patient rights and confidentiality are maintained. Key responsibilities include evaluating care effectiveness, coordinating with other departments, and performing duties aligned with mission and standards. It requires qualification as a graduate of an accredited nursing program (Associate's, Diploma, or BSN), holding an active RN license, and Basic Life Support certification. Specialized duties focus on neuro and pulmonary stroke units, managing complex pulmonary conditions such as COPD, respiratory failure, asthma, and pneumonia, often involving high-flow oxygen, BiPAP, tracheostomies, and chest tubes. Neuro care involves assessing for subtle changes, managing acute stroke and TIA patients, and providing stroke education, sometimes utilizing tele-neuro services. Ideal candidates are team-oriented, detail-focused, and committed to patient-centered care, working primarily during night shifts.
