Part Time Neuro RN - Night Shift

About the Role

We are seeking a qualified Registered Nurse (RN) to provide patient care in a Neuro/Pulmonary Stroke Unit. The unit primarily manages patients with conditions such as COPD, respiratory failure, asthma, pneumonia, and stroke. Nurses perform complex assessments, administer aggressive therapies, and monitor patients closely, especially those with high flow oxygen, BiPAP, tracheostomies, or chest tubes. Collaboration with stroke coordinators and use of tele-neuro services are integral.

Responsibilities

• Utilize the nursing process to deliver comprehensive patient care.
• Evaluate the effectiveness of care provided by team members.
• Coordinate patient care across departments.
• Maintain patient rights and confidentiality.
• Adhere to organizational standards and values.

Qualifications

• Graduation from an accredited nursing program (Associate's, Diploma, or BSN).
• Current RN license in the state or compact licensure.
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification through the American Heart Association or completion within 30 days of hire.
