Nurse (Neuro) - Full Time/Part Time, Night Shift

Role: Neuro RN working on a Neuro/Pulmonary Stroke Unit, primarily during night shifts. Responsibilities Utilize the nursing process to deliver comprehensive patient care.Maintain professional accountability and evaluate the effectiveness of care provided by team members.Coordinate patient care across departments, ensuring patient rights and confidentiality are upheld.Perform assessments and interventions for complex pulmonary conditions such as COPD, respiratory failure, asthma, and pneumonia.Collaborate with the Stroke Coordinator to care for Acute Stroke and TIA patients, utilizing tele-neuro services when needed.Provide patient education, monitor subtle changes in neuro status, and deliver aggressive therapies for pulmonary and neuro patients. Qualifications Graduate of an accredited nursing program (Associate's, Diploma, or BSN).Current RN license in the state or valid compact licensure.Basic Life Support (BLS) certification through the American Heart Association or completed within 30 days of hire. Skills & Qualities: Critical assessment, complex patient management, collaboration, confidentiality, and adherence to standards and values.
