About the role
We are seeking a dedicated Registered Nurse (RN) to provide patient care in a Neuro/Pulmonary Stroke Unit.
Responsibilities
- Utilize the nursing process to assess, plan, implement, and evaluate patient care.
- Ensure patient rights and maintain confidentiality.
- Collaborate with other departments to coordinate comprehensive care.
- Monitor neuro and pulmonary patients with complex needs, including stroke, TIA, COPD, respiratory failure, and pneumonia.
- Perform frequent assessments, administer therapies, and provide education.
- Evaluate the care provided by other caregivers and maintain professional accountability.
Requirements
- Graduation from an accredited nursing program (Associate's, Diploma, or BSN).
- Current RN licensure in the applicable state, with ongoing license maintenance.
- Basic Life Support (BLS) certification through the American Heart Association or successful completion within 30 days of hire.
