About the role
Provides direct patient care within standards of nursing practice, focusing on assessment, diagnosis, planning, implementation, and evaluation. Promotes patient and family-centered care, educating them on managing their health and post-treatment needs. Develops and documents individualized care plans in collaboration with the healthcare team, ensuring effective communication across the continuum of care. Utilizes critical nursing skills to assess physical, psychosocial, and emotional needs, respecting patient preferences, values, and cultural considerations. Works in a safety-sensitive environment, maintaining constant alertness to ensure safety and quality care.
Responsibilities
- Educate patients and families about illness management and medication administration.

Qualifications
- Education: Nursing Diploma/Associate's Degree required; Bachelor's Degree preferred.
- Licenses: Active RN license required.
- Experience: No prior experience necessary; less than 2 years preferred for higher education levels.
