Part-Time Medical Assistant

About the role

Seeking a Medical Assistant (CMA) to provide comprehensive patient care in a fast-paced medical office environment. This role emphasizes patient-centered care, professionalism, efficiency, and team collaboration.

Responsibilities

• Escort patients, record vital signs, collect history, and prepare charts and reports
• Answer calls, triage concerns, document in medical records, and coordinate with staff and providers
• Assist during exams and procedures, schedule appointments, and provide patient education
• Support administrative tasks such as maintaining documentation, managing patient flow, and using EHR systems

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited Medical Assistant program and current CMA/MA and CPR certifications within one year
• At least one year of medical office experience preferred
• Strong knowledge of medical terminology, excellent communication skills, and ability to multitask
• Typing speed of ~60 WPM and EHR experience (Greenway Intergy preferred)
