We are seeking a Certified Medical Assistant (CMA, RMA, CCMA, or EMT Basic) to join our urgent care team in Suffolk, VA.
Responsibilities
- Provide patient care and perform procedures
- Handle administrative duties
- Ensure a safe environment for patients, visitors, and staff
- Demonstrate effective inter-departmental communication
- Adhere to policies while maintaining productivity, efficiency, and resourcefulness
Requirements
- High School diploma or equivalent
- Certification in medical assisting (CMA, RMA, CCMA) or EMT Basic
- Basic Life Support (BLS) certification within 90 days of hire
Qualifications
Preferred candidates have at least 1 year of clinical or administrative experience.
