About the role
The Medical Assistant (MA) II supports licensed practitioners by performing clinical duties to assist in providing patient care.
Responsibilities
Perform all tasks of an MA I, including clinical functions such as:
- obtaining vital signs
- administering injections
- medication administration
in accordance with policies and regulations.
Qualifications
- Graduate from an accredited medical assistant program, registered medical assistant apprenticeship, or military medical training
- Minimum one year of clinical experience
- Current BLS certification
Preferred candidates hold National Medical Assistant Certification.
