Responsibilities

  • Assist in food preparation and cooking according to established recipes and standards.

  • Maintain cleanliness and organization of the kitchen area, including proper storage of ingredients.
  • Operate kitchen equipment safely and effectively, including knives and cooking appliances.
  • Collaborate with other kitchen staff to ensure timely meal preparation and service.
  • Support catering events by preparing large quantities of food as needed.
  • Adhere to all food safety guidelines to prevent contamination and ensure quality.

Qualifications

  • Strong background in food service, including restaurant or culinary experience.
  • Knowledge of menu planning, meal preparation, and cooking techniques.
  • Proficient knife skills and experience with various food handling practices.
  • Familiarity with food safety standards and regulations within the food industry.
  • Ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail.
  • A passion for cooking and providing exceptional service to guests is essential.
