Part-Time Lecturer(s) Pool for the Educational Leadership Doctoral Program

About the role

The Program of Ed D. invites applications for a pool of part-time teaching appointments. Candidates selected will teach one or some combination of P12 and community college specialist courses.

Responsibilities

• Teach P12 and community college specialist courses as needed.
• Work with students who are working professionals of diverse language and cultural backgrounds.
• Contribute to the department's professional education programs in Counselor Education, School Administration, and Curriculum & Instruction.

Requirements

• An EdD or PhD is required.
• Experience in educational leadership.
• Knowledge and experience with policies and initiatives affecting education, including K-12, community college, and higher education.
• Effective teaching practices.

• Experience in educational leadership.

About the department and the college

The Department of Advanced Studies in Education offers professional education programs in Counselor Education, School Administration, and Curriculum & Instruction. The Department offers basic and advanced credentials, master’s degrees and a doctorate in Educational Leadership. Programs have State accreditation through the California Commission on Teacher Credentialing (CCTC).
