Part-Time Lecturer Pool_Department of Biology

Duties

• Teach courses at the undergraduate level
• Provide a minimum of three hours per week of office hours per course to meet with students

Requirements

• One-year College teaching experience preferred
• Doctorate in Biology or related discipline relevant to the course being taught
• Thorough knowledge of the relevant sub-field
• Certainty in the general area of Biology

Qualifications

• Appointments/Offers contingent upon student demand and available funding
• The final confirmation may not be available until classes begin
• An essential function and requirement of this position is in-person, face-to-face teaching for all classes

Skills

• Ability to teach Introductory Biology (lecture and laboratory)
• Ability to teach Physiology
• Ability to teach Cell and Molecular Biology
• Ability to teach Genetics
