Part-Time Lead Sales Associate

Role Overview: This position involves functioning as a Cashier and/or Stocker, with leadership responsibilities in the absence of the Store Manager or Assistant Store Manager. The role includes assisting with merchandise stocking, maintaining plan-o-grams, providing excellent customer service, and supporting store operations to maximize profitability and safety. Key Responsibilities Unload trucks, receive and unpack merchandise following store procedures.Stock, rotate, face shelves, and build displays.Assist customers in locating products and operate cash registers.Handle transactions, collect payments, and provide change.Maintain store cleanliness, organize displays, and ensure safety standards.Support opening and closing the store, including cash handling and bank deposits in the absence of management.Monitor security, control cash levels, and complete required documentation. Qualifications & Skills Ability to perform basic math and cash handling procedures.Proficiency with cash register functions and safety policies.Strong communication and interpersonal skills.Ability to read and follow plan-o-grams and merchandising guidelines.High school diploma or equivalent; supervisory or related experience preferred. Working Conditions: Frequent standing, bending, lifting up to 55 pounds, and working in a fast-paced environment. May involve outdoor exposure, driving, and using various equipment and tools.
