Part-Time Lead Sales Associate

Role Overview: This position involves functioning as a Cashier and/or Stocker, with leadership responsibilities in the absence of the Store Manager or Assistant Store Manager. The role focuses on providing excellent customer service, maintaining merchandise displays, stocking, and ensuring store cleanliness and safety. Key Responsibilities Unload trucks and stock merchandise, including rotating and building displays.Assist customers in locating items and operate cash register functions, including processing payments and bagging merchandise.Implement plan-o-grams, maintain store cleanliness, and manage store fixtures.Help set up sidewalk displays and ensure a safe, organized shopping environment.In absence of managers, authorize refunds, oversee cash handling, monitor security, and complete necessary documentation. Qualifications & Skills Ability to perform mathematical calculations and handle cash accurately.Knowledge of cash handling procedures, safety policies, and store operations.Strong communication skills and ability to follow visual merchandising guidelines.High school diploma or equivalent; supervisory or related experience preferred. Work Conditions: Frequent standing, bending, lifting up to 40-55 pounds, and occasional outdoor exposure. Must be able to operate equipment like scanners and carts, and occasionally climb ladders. Fast-paced environment with moderate noise levels.
