Part-Time Lead Sales Associate

Role Overview The position involves acting as a Cashier and/or Stocker, with leadership responsibilities in the absence of the Store Manager or Assistant Store Manager. Key duties include receiving and unpacking merchandise, stocking shelves, maintaining plan-o-grams, assisting customers, operating registers, and ensuring a clean and organized store environment. The role also encompasses handling store operations such as opening and closing the store, managing cash, authorizing refunds, and monitoring security. Responsibilities Unload trucks and stock merchandise, rotate and face items, and assist with merchandise displaysProvide excellent customer service and assist customers in locating productsOperate cash register, handle transactions, and maintain register areaMaintain store cleanliness, including cleaning floors, restrooms, and stockroomSupport store opening and closing procedures, including cash handling and security tasks Qualifications & Skills Ability to perform basic math calculations and handle cash proceduresKnowledge of cash handling, safety, and security policiesEffective communication and interpersonal skillsAbility to follow plan-o-gram and merchandise presentation guidelines Experience & Education High school diploma or equivalent preferred, with six months of supervisory or related experience recommended.
