Part-Time Lead Generation Specialist for Research Enterprise
Key Responsibilities
- Nurture potential leads for commercialization opportunities, research partnerships, and sponsorship through various channels.
- Help develop and execute marketing strategies to engage potential leads.
- Prepare initial marketing materials tailored to different audiences, ensuring alignment with Penn State’s research objectives and capabilities.
- Work closely with various teams to understand their projects and potential commercialization aspects.
- Regularly report on lead generation progress.
Qualifications
- Education: High School diploma (AND enrolled in college, in Business Major), or Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Business Administration, or a related field.
- Experience: At least 1-2 years of experience in contact list management, lead generation, nurturing, sales, or marketing, preferably in a higher education, research, or technology-driven environment.
- Skills: Understanding of lead generation and nurturing techniques and tools. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to engage effectively with a diverse range of stakeholders. Familiar with HubSpot or other CRM software. Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a dynamic environment. Knowledge of the research and technology transfer landscape is a plus.
Hours
Part-time, approximately 20 hours per week.
Background Checks/Clearances
Employment with the University will require successful completion of background check(s) in accordance with University policies.
