Role Overview: Maintains product levels and quality control in the grocery department, ensuring proper display, rotation, and safety standards. Promotes customer service, assists with product selection, and responds to customer inquiries and complaints. Operates equipment such as pallet jacks safely and adheres to food safety and sanitation protocols. Key Responsibilities Stocking and maintaining full shelves and displays.Unloading and loading products using pallet jacks.Inspecting products for quality and proper dating.Handling trash and empty boxes responsibly.Assisting customers with questions, price checks, and product location.Supporting sales through suggestive selling.Maintaining a clean, safe, and sanitary environment.Following safety procedures and reporting hazards. Qualifications & Skills Ability to operate manual or electric pallet jacks (18+ years).Safely handle equipment and sharp objects.Multi-task in a fast-paced environment.Work well with others and promote teamwork.Learn new systems and procedures.Flexible schedule including nights, weekends, and holidays.Attention to safety and hazard awareness. Requirements Minimum age of 16, with 18+ for equipment operation; 21+ for driving.On-the-job training provided. Physical & Environmental Demands: Frequent standing, walking, lifting up to 40 lbs (occasionally 75 lbs), bending, and working in varying temperatures and conditions, including outside weather and damp environments. Attendance is required.
