Part-Time Grocery Stocker

About the Role

Ensure excellent guest service and smooth departmental operations within the grocery section.

Responsibilities

• Provide friendly and courteous interactions with guests and team members.
• Stock, rotate, and condition grocery products according to standards and productivity guidelines.
• Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment for shoppers and staff.
• Manage backstock inventory efficiently, minimizing damage and shrink.
• Assist with unloading deliveries and verifying merchandise.
• Ensure sanitation standards are met on the sales floor and in backroom areas.
• Monitor temperature-sensitive products and communicate issues to supervisors.
• Perform front-end duties as needed to uphold quick checkout standards.
• Order products for aisles as directed by management.
• Carry out additional tasks assigned by management.

Requirements

• Outgoing, friendly personality with strong guest service skills.
• Ability to work collaboratively with others.
• Physical ability to lift up to 40 lbs regularly and 60 lbs occasionally.
• Capable of understanding instructions and information.
• Knowledge of grocery store operations and willingness to learn multiple tasks.
• Effective communication skills.
• Ability to stand, bend, kneel, push/pull, and operate equipment like pallet jacks for extended periods.
