Part Time Grocery Stock

About the role

Cub Lakeville North is seeking a dedicated Part-Time Grocery Stocker to ensure product availability, freshness, and an efficient shopping experience for customers. This role involves following stocking procedures, product rotation, and maintaining store presentation.

Responsibilities

• Complete stocking assignments within allotted time.
• Handle product carefully to avoid damage.
• Use proper case cutting techniques.
• Ensure correct placement of stock on shelves.
• Rotate and face product to maintain freshness and minimize waste.
• Perform clean-up of sales floor and back room.
• Assist customers with questions or requests.
• Operate equipment such as scanners, registers, and intercoms.

Requirements

• Able to stand for long periods of time.
• Basic memorization, reading, writing, and math skills.
• Ongoing customer interaction with prompt, courteous, and accurate service.
• Good judgment for times when direct supervision may not be available.
• Ability to follow verbal or demonstrated instructions, write identifying information, and request supplies.
• Must be at least 16 years of age.

Physical Requirements

• Lifting and carrying up to 50 lbs.
• Walking on uneven ground.
• Reaching, bending, turning, and repetitive motions.

Schedule

Varied weekly shifts, with availability for evenings and weekends preferred.

Pay

Compensation is based on a progressive union scale, with actual pay depending on factors such as education, experience, training, and applicable collective bargaining agreements.
