Part-Time Foodservice Worker

About the role

This role involves performing routine foodservice tasks including portioning, serving, and cleaning food, tableware, and work areas, while adhering to safety and sanitation standards. The position may involve handling cash and working in a clinical environment, with rotating shifts including weekends and holidays. Additional training and competencies will be provided as part of departmental orientation.

Responsibilities

• Prepare, package, store, and handle food supplies and utensils.
• Read and interpret meal tickets and confirm patient identifiers.
• Ensure proper food temperatures are maintained.
• Portion and serve meals according to established guidelines.
• Clean food, tableware, and work areas following safety and sanitation standards.
• Follow all safety protocols and sanitation procedures.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent (preferred).
• Prior experience in food preparation, serving, cleaning, or customer service is advantageous.

Schedule
