Part Time - Food Service Manager

About the role

The Food Service Manager oversees dining operations, ensuring customer satisfaction by managing team performance, safety, and sanitation standards.

Responsibilities

• Lead and develop staff using coaching models, recognize achievements, and ensure performance meets objectives
• Maintain strong client relationships by communicating operational progress and needs
• Manage financial performance through P&L statements, cost controls, and margin improvements
• Drive productivity via efficient operations, food and labor initiatives, and staff training
• Ensure compliance with safety, health, and employment policies
• Lead front-of-house dining activities and coordinate food service delivery

Qualifications

• At least 1 year of management experience
• Strong interpersonal and customer service skills
• Ability to lift up to 50 lb. and stand for extended periods
• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience preferred
