Part Time Flight Registered Nurse

Provides nursing care for Life Flight operations, following Act 37 standards and protocols. Key Responsibilities Include Accepting duty assignments across program sites as needed to maintain operations.Delivering patient care from initial contact until transfer to medical facilities.Maintaining thorough documentation in the Electronic Medical Record.Practicing within legal scope, maintaining competency through ongoing education.Communicating educational needs and maintaining equipment and supply inventories.Ensuring the medical interior of aircraft and ambulances is maintained and clean.Serving as a flight crew member, assisting pilots, and participating in pre- and post-mission activities.Supporting specialty team transports (e.g., ECMO, NICU) and adhering to safety standards during flights.Acting as a clinical resource, preceptor, and participating in safety and performance evaluations. Qualifications And Skills Critical care nursing experience (minimum three years).Specialty certifications such as CCRN, CEN, CFRN, or CTRN required upon hire; CFRN within one year.Ability to lift at least 50 pounds, work in aircraft environments, and handle exposure to noise, fumes, and extreme temperatures.
