Part Time - Fine Dining Server

About the role

We are seeking an experienced Fine Dining Server to provide exceptional service in an upscale environment, ensuring memorable guest experiences. The role involves greeting and seating guests, explaining menus and specials, taking accurate orders, and recommending food and wine pairings. The server must execute formal service standards, including multi-course meals and tableside service, using proficiency in French and American techniques. Maintaining a polished appearance, professional demeanor, and collaborating with team members are essential. Monitoring guest satisfaction, upselling menu items, and adhering to safety and sanitation regulations are key responsibilities.

Responsibilities

• Greet, seat, and present menus to guests.
• Accurately take orders, noting dietary needs.
• Recommend food and beverage pairings.
• Deliver formal, precise service, ensuring proper presentation.
• Maintain professionalism and collaborate with team for seamless service.
• Monitor guest satisfaction and address concerns proactively.
• Upsell menu items and assist with side work and closing duties.
• Follow all safety, sanitation, and alcohol service regulations.

Qualifications

• At least 2 years of fine dining or upscale restaurant experience preferred.
• Strong knowledge of food, wine, and service etiquette.
• Proficiency in formal service techniques (French and American).
• Excellent communication, interpersonal, and customer service skills.
• Ability to multitask and stay composed under pressure.
• Professional appearance and demeanor.
• Physical ability to lift 25-50 lbs and stand/walk for extended periods.
• Full-time availability, including nights, weekends, and holidays.
