Part Time Educator - Windsor Central School District

Right At School provides local school districts with before and after school extended day programs focused on disguised learning activities and daily enrichment dedicated to the success of all students. Our mission is to inspire a love of learning, support schools, and give families peace of mind.

About the role

As an Educator, you will drive the mission by building a safe, engaging environment where children can explore and grow through structured activities and curriculum.

Responsibilities

• Participate in daily program meetings to review goals, share ideas, discuss professional progress, and encourage team collaboration and accountability.
• Organize and facilitate daily activities and curriculum aligned with program objectives, ensuring they are both educational and enjoyable for all ages.
• Lead structured daily fitness, activities, and curriculum while modeling positive guidance and effective classroom management.
• Maintain a safe and nurturing environment by monitoring for hazards, following safety protocols, and documenting attendance, incidents, and observations.
• Communicate effectively with children, parents, staff, and school personnel.

Requirements

• Outstanding customer service and relationship-building skills.
• Ability to work well in a team environment.
• At least 1 year of experience working with children under 13 years of age.
• Ability to lift 25 lbs.
• Drive to inspire a love for learning and commitment to healthy living.
• Flexibility to support additional local programs as needed.

Qualifications

• 18+ years of age.
• Proof of High School diploma/GED.
• Substantial experience working with children under 13 years of age (3-5 years preferred).
• Ability to meet New York State requirements, including:
  • First Aid and CPR certification (in-person).
  • Cleared tuberculosis test.
  • Proof of MMR vaccination.

Pay

$17.00 - $20.00 per hour, based on education and experience.

Schedule

Monday - Friday, 3:30 PM - 6:00 PM.
