Part-Time Community Associate

Location: 15111 8th Ave SW Suite 300, Burien, WA 98166 (on‑site). Part‑time position, 25 hours per week.

About the role

The Community Associate works closely with new and existing customers across a variety of industries, creating and maintaining a vibrant community within the center. The role handles administrative and support needs so customers can focus on running their businesses, while also promoting IWG’s workspace network.

Responsibilities

• Arrive before opening to ensure the center is ready and address any cleaning oversights.
• Assist customers with Wi‑Fi code changes, package retrieval, directions, projector setup, and coffee recommendations.
• Verify that services are properly charged and invoices are accurate.
• Sort incoming mail, notify customers of package arrivals, and manage related communications.
• Provide printing assistance, resolve invoicing questions, and open service tickets for issues such as temperature control.
• Organize weekly networking events: draft e‑invites, create and post promotional posters.
• Engage prospects, share information about IWG spaces, and encourage enrollment.
• Coordinate meeting‑room usage, guide groups to nearby dining options, and ensure the space remains tidy at day’s end.

Requirements

• Ability to manage multiple tasks while delivering excellent customer service.
• Strong communication skills; capable of building professional relationships and empathizing with customer needs (ideally 1+ year of customer‑service experience).
• Willingness to take ownership of problems and devise solutions.
• Positive, enthusiastic attitude and adaptability to fast‑changing situations.
• Experience and confidence using Microsoft Office and basic IT equipment.
• Legal eligibility to work in the United States and age 18 or older.
