Part-Time Community Development Associate

About the role

The City of Homer is seeking a Part-Time Community Development Associate to support the Community Development Department.

Responsibilities

• Provides administrative support to the Community Development Department.
• Shares technical information with the public regarding addressing, Mobile Food Permits, and other departmental activities.
• Helps the department transition to a more paperless workflow in daily operations.

Requirements

• Graduation from an accredited two-year college or equivalent combination of education and experience.
• Minimum of three years of paid experience in public-facing roles.
• Working knowledge and experience with graphic design software such as Canva or Indesign is preferred.
• Accurate keyboarding skills are required.
