Part-Time Dietitian

About the role

A dedicated Dietitian will assess patients' nutritional needs, develop and implement personalized dietary plans, and educate on healthy eating habits.

Responsibilities

• Monitor nutritional status
• Instruct on post-discharge diets
• Collaborate with healthcare professionals to ensure optimal patient care
• Communicate with patients and healthcare team
• Evaluate referral orders
• Document in medical records
• Implement and adapt nutritional care plans
• Conduct calorie counts
• Review menus for nutritional adequacy

Requirements

• Registration by the American Dietetic Association
• State licensure
• Degree in Food & Nutrition

Qualifications

Preferred candidates will have at least one year of clinical dietetics experience and membership in the Academy of Nutrition and Dietetics.
