Part Time - Dietary Aide

About the Role

The Dietary Aide - Server supports food preparation, service, and general dietary department duties.

Responsibilities

• Assist in food prep, serving meals, snacks, and beverages with proper portioning and sanitation.
• Deliver meals to residents or tables, ensuring dietary preferences and timely service.
• Maintain cleanliness of kitchen, dining areas, and equipment, including dishwashing and proper storage.
• Monitor and record equipment temperatures, reporting faults promptly.
• Follow safety, infection control, and chemical handling protocols.
• Greet residents, visitors, and staff courteously, respecting dignity and confidentiality.
• Reset dining areas, prepare for upcoming meals, and assist with storage of supplies.
• Participate in training, in-services, and perform additional duties as needed.

Requirements

• Food Handler Permit required.
• Some high school education preferred.
• Ability to work in a safe, respectful, and inclusive manner, supporting dignity and confidentiality.
