About the Role
The Dietary Aide - Server supports food preparation, service, and general dietary department duties.
Responsibilities
- Assist in food prep, serving meals, snacks, and beverages with proper portioning and sanitation.
- Deliver meals to residents or tables, ensuring dietary preferences and timely service.
- Maintain cleanliness of kitchen, dining areas, and equipment, including dishwashing and proper storage.
- Monitor and record equipment temperatures, reporting faults promptly.
- Follow safety, infection control, and chemical handling protocols.
- Greet residents, visitors, and staff courteously, respecting dignity and confidentiality.
- Reset dining areas, prepare for upcoming meals, and assist with storage of supplies.
- Participate in training, in-services, and perform additional duties as needed.
Requirements
- Food Handler Permit required.
- Some high school education preferred.
- Ability to work in a safe, respectful, and inclusive manner, supporting dignity and confidentiality.
