About the role
A Dietary Aide position in a 230-bed skilled nursing facility.
Responsibilities
- Preparing and serving food and beverages according to diets and recipes
- Assembling and delivering resident trays and nourishments
- Cleaning up after meals and washing dishes
- Handling food safely and maintaining sanitation standards
- Managing inventory and delivering food carts to nursing units
Requirements
- Some high school education
- Excellent customer service and ability to work well under pressure
- Knowledge of food service techniques and sanitation
- Ability to follow written and verbal instructions
- Reliable and dedicated team player
- Some weekend availability is necessary
Experience in a healthcare kitchen is preferred but not required. Vaccinations are encouraged but not mandated.
