Part Time - Dietary Aide

About the Role

The Dietary Services Aide supports meal preparation, service, and sanitation in a skilled nursing environment, ensuring timely and accurate delivery of meals while maintaining a clean and safe dining area.

Responsibilities

• Assist with food prep for residents, visitors, and staff, including special events.
• Serve meals and support dining activities during staff meetings or events.
• Maintain cleanliness of dishes, utensils, and kitchen equipment to meet sanitation standards.
• Set and clear tables, ensuring a welcoming dining environment.
• Follow food safety, sanitation, and infection control protocols.
• Support the dietary team with additional assigned duties.

Requirements

• Must be at least 16 years old.
• Effective communication with residents, families, visitors, and team members.
• Ability to follow instructions safely and efficiently.
• Maintain resident confidentiality and professionalism.
• Adherence to HIPAA, OSHA, and applicable regulations.
• Physical ability to stand, sit, walk, lift up to 25 lbs., and push/pull up to 50 lbs.
• Follow safety policies, use appropriate PPE, and report injuries promptly.
