Key Responsibilities
- Assisting with meal preparation, tray assembly, and light cooking duties
- Delivering meals and serving residents courteously
- Setting up, stocking, and maintaining sanitation of dining areas
- Serving as a support to kitchen staff and ensuring adherence to food safety standards
- Fulfilling resident dietary restrictions and special requests
- Washing dishes and assisting with kitchen cleanup
Qualifications And Skills
- Must be at least 18 years old with prior food service experience
- Experience in healthcare, senior living, or CBRF settings is a plus
- Ability to prepare simple menu items and follow recipes
- Knowledge of food safety and sanitation practices
- Strong communication, customer service, and teamwork skills
- Ability to stand, walk, bend, and lift up to 30 pounds
- Willingness to complete CBRF training if needed
