Role Overview

This position involves providing assistance in all food service functions, ensuring adherence to policies, proper meal presentation, and resident satisfaction.

Responsibilities

• Serve food according to portion control and dietary requirements
• Assist with meal setup and delivery
• Verify meal accuracy
• Maintain cleanliness of dining and kitchen areas
• Support food preparation, inventory management, and snack delivery
• Follow safety protocols to prevent accidents and injuries
• Perform kitchen utility duties such as cleaning, sanitizing, and waste removal
• Ensure compliance with health regulations and maintain a safe, clean environment in all dining areas
• Attend training sessions and staff meetings to meet departmental standards

Qualifications & Skills

• High school diploma
• 0-3 years in food service or hospitality
• Serv Safe certification preferred
• Communicate effectively
• Understand therapeutic diets
