Part Time - Cook

About the role

This position involves supporting customer service and food preparation by maintaining a clean, organized workspace and adhering to food safety standards. The team member demonstrates knowledge of menu items, line procedures, and ensures prompt, friendly service to guests.

Responsibilities

• Provide exemplary guest service through effective communication and hospitality.
• Maintain cleanliness of prep areas, kitchen lines, and dish stations.
• Follow food handling guidelines, including OSHA and First In, First Out procedures, to ensure food safety.
• Maintain food logs, par levels, and proper knife skills.
• Assist team members, work efficiently in a fast-paced environment, and support all service operations.
• Provide menu and community information to guests.

Qualifications & Skills

• At least one year of restaurant kitchen experience preferred.
• Oregon Food Handler’s card required.
• Physical ability to stand for long periods and lift heavy items.
• Strong communication, organization, and teamwork skills.
