About the Role

Right At School is a provider of before and after school extended day programs focused on disguised learning activities and daily enrichment. Our mission is to inspire a love of learning, support schools, and give families peace of mind. We achieve this by building a team of mission-driven individuals passionate about fostering a love of learning and creating safe, engaging experiences for children.

Responsibilities

• Organize program materials for lessons and activities, and document attendance, incidents, and other observations
• Deliver dynamic daily curriculum to engage children in academic and social character-building that expands school day learning in a meaningful way
• Model positive guidance and effective classroom management to maintain the safety, well-being, and attention of all children while supporting homework completion, leading fun fitness activities, and guiding children at play
• Excellent communication skills with varied audiences including children, parents, staff, and school personnel
• Makes regular meetings with the Area Manager to discuss professional progress and team accountability

Requirements

• Must be 21 years of age with a High School diploma/GED
• One year of supervisor/management experience
• 70 clock hours of training in child or youth development, recreational leadership, or management
• At least 1 year of experience in a licensed program

Pay and Schedule

• Pay Rate: $17-$20 per hour (based on education and experience)
• Start Date: August 2026
• Schedule/Hours: Before and After Split Shift Monday through Friday - 6:00 am-8:00 am and return for Afternoon program 2:30 pm to 6:00 pm (may vary slightly)
• Location: Medina Valley School District (5 Elementary School locations)

Job Requirement

• Outstanding customer service and relationship-building skills
• One year of supervisor/management experience
• Works well in a team environment
• At least 21 years of age
• At least one year of experience working with children 5-13 years of age in a formal group childcare setting
• 70 clock hours of training in child or youth development, recreational leadership, or management
• A high school diploma or equivalent
• Ability to lift 40lbs
• Drive to inspire a love for learning and commitment to healthy living
• Ability to meet state-specific requirements
