Job Summary

Right At School is seeking a Part-Time Before and After School Site Program Manager for the Fall 26-27 school year starting in August 2026. The position offers flexible hours from 2:20 PM to 6:00 PM, Monday through Thursday, and 1:30 PM to 6:00 PM on Fridays. The pay range is $20-$25 per hour based on experience.

Responsibilities

  • Drive the mission by ensuring safety and joy standards are met.
  • Support operational efficiency by keeping site documents and licensing standards up to date.
  • Outline attendance protocols, behavior policies, safety procedures, and ensure program tasks are completed effectively.
  • Continually coach, foster respectful relationships among staff to address any challenges or issues promptly.
  • Support safety protocols to ensure the well-being of all participants.
  • Engage meaningfully with families, client partners, peers, and children to support effective communication and relationship building.
  • Communicate and collaborate regularly with the Area Manager to support outlined program goals and assist in implementing changes or processes as guided.
  • Maintain accurate records for student check-ins and check-outs.
  • Implement daily activities, fitness fun, and curriculum while providing a safe and engaging environment.

Requirements

  • Must be 21 years of age with a High School diploma/GED.
  • One year of supervisor/management experience.
  • 70 clock hours of training in child or youth development, recreational leadership, or management.
  • At least 1 year of experience in a childcare licensed program.
  • At least 1 year of experience in a licensed program in a childcare/school setting.
  • One year of experience managing/supervising employees.
  • Proof of High School diploma/GED completed.

Qualifications

  • Experience with working amongst competing priorities and delivering quality service to all stakeholders.
  • Coursework or training in child development and/or related field.
  • Communication skills: oral, written, and visual with adults and children.
  • Model professional standards when dealing with students, parents, staff, and community.
  • Familiarity with Google technology software or willingness to learn.
  • Ability to meet state-specific requirements; FA/CPR, Mandated Reporter, Cleared TB.
  • 21+ years of age.
