  • Coursework or training in child development and/or related field is a PLUS
  • Communication skills; oral, written, and visual with adults and children
  • Ability to model professional standards when dealing with students, parents, staff, and community
  • Familiarity with Google technology software or willingness to learn
  • Ability to meet state-specific requirements
  • 18 years of age of older

About the Role

Right At School provides local school districts with before and after-school extended day programs with a focus on disguised learning activities and daily enrichment dedicated to the success of all students!

Responsibilities

As a Part-time Educator at Right At School, you will:

  • Be responsible for supervising students during the program hours
  • Engage in educational activities designed to promote learning and development
  • Support students' social and emotional growth
  • Ensure a safe and positive learning environment
  • Communicate regularly with parents and guardians regarding student progress and concerns
  • Collaborate with other educators and staff to plan and implement enrichment activities

Requirements

  • Must be 18 years of age with a High School diploma/GED.
  • Background Clearance completion will be required
  • At least 1 year of verifiable experience working with children under 13 years of age in a childcare group-type setting

Qualifications

  • At least 1 year of verifiable experience working with children under 13 years of age in a childcare group-type setting
  • First Aid and CPR-in-person (if required-ability to obtain within 30 days of employment)
  • Cleared tuberculosis test (if required-ability to obtain within 30 days of employment)
  • Proof of MMR (if required for documentation)
  • 18+ years of age
  • Proof of High School diploma/GED required

Pay

Starting Date: August 2026
Pay Range: $15-$18 (depending on years of experience working with kids in a group setting)

Schedule/Hours

Schedule/Hours: Must be available Monday through Friday between 2:30 PM to 6:00 PM, Monday through Thursday, and 1:40 PM to 6:00 PM on Friday. REQUIRED-Monday through Friday availability is required.
