Job Summary

Right At School seeks a Part Time After School Site Program Manager to lead and support our mission-driven team in providing high-quality before and after school programs. The ideal candidate will manage a team, ensure safety and compliance, and foster a positive environment for children.

About the Role

Manage Right At School’s after-school site programs, focusing on safety, engagement, and compliance. Lead a team of staff members, implement daily activities, and ensure all programs adhere to company policies and regulations.

Responsibilities

  • Exhibit role model qualities ensuring safety and joy standards are met
  • Support operational efficiency by keeping site documents and licensing standards up to date
  • Outline attendance protocols, behavior policies, safety procedures, and ensure program tasks are completed effectively
  • Continually coach, foster respectful relationships among staff to address any challenges or issues promptly
  • Support and report on safety protocols to ensure the well-being of all participants
  • Engage meaningfully with families, client partners, peers, and children to support effective communication and relationship building
  • Communicate and collaborate regularly with the Area Manager to support outlined program goals and assist in implementing changes or processes as guided
  • Maintain accurate records for student check-ins and check-outs
  • Implement daily activities, fitness fun, and curriculum while providing a safe and engaging environment

Requirements

  • Must be 21 years of age with a High School diploma/GED
  • One year of supervisor/management experience
  • 70 clock hours of training in child or youth development, recreational leadership, or management
  • At least 1 year of experience in a licensed program

Qualifications

  • Proof of High School diploma/GED required
  • Experience working with children and knowledge of unique and special needs
  • Coursework or training in child development and/or related field (a PLUS)
  • Communication skills; oral, written, and visual with adults and children
  • Ability to model professional standards when dealing with students, parents, staff, and community
  • Familiarity with Google technology software or willingness to learn
  • Ability to meet state-specific requirements; FA/CPR, Mandated Reporter, Cleared TB
  • 21 years of age of older
