Part Time Before and After School Site Program Manager -Medina Valley

About the role

Right At School provides local school districts with before and after school extended day programs focusing on disguised learning activities and daily enrichment. Our mission is to inspire a love of learning, support schools, and give families peace of mind. We achieve this by building a team of mission-driven individuals passionate about fostering a love of learning and creating safe, engaging experiences for children.

Responsibilities

• Organize program materials for lessons and activities, and document attendance, incidents, and other observations.
• Deliver our dynamic daily curriculum to engage children in academic and social character-building that expands school day learning in a meaningful way.
• Model positive guidance and effective classroom management to maintain the safety, well-being, and attention of all children while supporting homework completion, leading fun fitness activities, and guiding children at play.
• Communicate effectively with varied audiences including children, parents, staff, and school personnel.
• Mentor and support children aged 5-13 in a formal group childcare setting.
• Meet regularly with the Area Manager to discuss professional progress and team accountability.

Requirements

• Must be 21 years of age with a High School diploma/GED.
• One year of supervisor/management experience.
• 70 clock hours of training in child or youth development, recreational leadership, or management.
• At least 1 year of experience in a licensed program.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or equivalent.
• One year of experience working with children 5-13 years of age in a formal group childcare setting.
• 70 clock hours of training in child or youth development, recreational leadership, or management.
• At least 21 years of age.

Pay

$17-$20 per hour (based on education and experience)

Schedule

Before and After Split Shift
Monday through Friday - 6:00 am-8:00 am and return for Afternoon program 2:30 pm to 6:00 pm (may vary slightly)
