Part- Time Bar Back-Loverboy

About the Role

Loverboy, a new restaurant concept from the team behind Box St. All Day and No Risk No Magic Hospitality Group, is set to open at Pearl on November 2, 2026. As a Bar Back, you will support bartenders in all aspects of operating a smooth-running and profitable bar, providing exceptional service to guests in a timely, courteous, efficient, and accurate manner.

Responsibilities

• Stock the bar with necessities like condiments, straws, rags, and beverage napkins
• Maintain full ice bins and ensure bar cleanliness
• Restock beer and assist with changing kegs
• Bus glassware and dirty plates from the bar area
• Maintain cleanliness inside and outside the bar, including bar stools
• Wash and restock glassware as needed
• Assist bartenders in maintaining service
• Run bus tubs back to the kitchen and replace them
• Make margarita mix for the margarita machine
• Cut fruit and garnishes for drinks
• Maintain proper stock of juice, liquor, beer, and wine
• Clear bar area of used dishes, glasses, and silverware, resetting between customers

Requirements

• Must be 18 years of age
• Must have TABC and Food Handlers certification before employment begins
• Exceptional customer service and communication skills
• POS (cash register) and credit/debit card processing skills
• Punctual and reliable attendance
• Well-groomed and professionally dressed, following uniform standards
• Attention to detail and a passion for serving guests
• Positive and professional attitude

Qualifications

• Excellent verbal communication skills
• Ability to stand for extended periods
• Capability to lift and carry items weighing up to 50 lbs
• Ability to bend, reach, and perform repetitive motions during shifts
