What You'll Do
- Perform light duty work as an intermediate-level auto tech.
- Improve your skills in a supportive environment.
- Gain familiarity with auto maintenance concepts and practices.
- Perform auto maintenance tech duties, including oil and filter change, fuel filter change, transmission flush, spark plugs and vehicle inspection.
- Perform battery testing, maintenance and replacement and testing and repairing of starting and charging electrical systems.
- Perform various repairs including tires, safety inspections and interior/exterior components.
- Diagnose and repair brake systems, steering and suspension systems.
- Perform an evacuation and recharge on the AC system.
- Maintain and repair equipment.
- Utilize approved vendors to obtain parts.
- May up fit new vehicles with necessary equipment.
- Complies with applicable procedures and regulations regarding recyclables, fluids, tires, and disposable trash.
Who You Are
- A quick learner - especially when it comes to cars and how they work.
- A team player who always arrives at the shop ready to provide excellent work.
- Has 1 or more years of related work experience.
- Has the ability to drive standard, automatic and electric vehicles.
- Is a safe driver with a valid driver's license.
