Responsibilities

• Gain familiarity with auto maintenance concepts and practices
• Perform auto maintenance tech duties, including oil and filter change, fuel filter change, transmission flush, spark plugs, and vehicle inspection
• Perform battery testing, maintenance, and replacement, as well as testing and repairing of starting and charging electrical systems
• Perform various repairs including tires, safety inspections, and interior/exterior components
• Diagnose and repair brake systems, steering, and suspension systems
• Perform an evacuation and recharge on the AC system
• Perform maintenance on equipment
• Utilize approved vendors to obtain parts
• May upfit new vehicles with necessary equipment
• Comply with applicable procedures and regulations regarding recyclables, fluids, tires, and disposable trash

Requirements

• 1 or more years of related work experience
• The ability to drive standard, automatic, and electric vehicles
• Valid driver’s license required

Qualifications

Preferred:

• A high school diploma or GED
• Current ASE Certifications: G1, A4, A5 status when required by leadership

Pay

Hourly pay rate is in the range of $22.07 - $33.13/hour. The hourly base rate may vary within the anticipated range based on factors such as location and the selected candidate's knowledge, skills, and abilities. Position may be eligible for additional compensation, including commission and/or an incentive program.

Schedule

• Employees are eligible to receive a minimum of sixteen hours of paid time off every month and seven paid holidays throughout the calendar year
• Additional paid time off for bereavement leave, time off to vote, jury duty leave, volunteer time off, military leave, and parental leave
