Part-time Assistant Coach, Women's Lacrosse

About the role

Southern New Hampshire University is seeking a part-time Assistant Coach for their women's lacrosse team. The position is based in Manchester, NH and reports directly to the Head Coach.

Responsibilities

• Participate in the leading and implementing the preseason and season practices.
• Help monitor conditioning programs.
• Provide input as to the evaluation of the athlete's performance and progress.
• Evaluate opponents' performance and scouting.
• Ensure the best performance of athletes during games.
• Recruit prospective student athletes.
• Participate in planning for events including fund raising or other special functions.
• Manage social media accounts.
• Attend the annual athletic awards banquet, NE-10 conference meetings, all-star balloting or voting meetings, and all SNHU Athletic Department meetings.
• Perform other responsibilities as assigned.

Requirements

• Bachelor's Degree
• 1+ years of playing or coaching experience in the sport of Lacrosse
• Knowledge, observance, and commitment to all rules and regulations of the College, NE-IO, ECAC, and NCAA
• Valid operator/driver’s license is required

Qualifications

• Pass the NCAA Certification exam

Pay

The hourly pay range for this position is $14.43 - $23.10. Actual offer will be based on skills, qualifications, experience and internal equity, in addition to relevant business considerations. We expect this position to be hired in the following target hiring range $15.95 - $21.58.
