About the role

The Accounting Clerk plays a crucial role in managing financial transactions and ensuring accurate record-keeping within the venue. They review invoices and reconcile accounts to maintain financial accuracy, ensure financial records are up-to-date, and comply with company policies and regulatory standards.

Responsibilities

  • Answering general office telephones, providing customer service and office support
  • Accounts Receivable: create invoices, send them to customers and occasionally receive and post payments
  • Accounts Payable: create purchase orders, match deliveries to PO, receive POs, match invoices to POs; invoice entry; vendor file maintenance
  • Payroll: employee file maintenance, process employee time records, submit payroll files accurately and on time
  • Data Entry: assist other departments as needed
  • Ensuring that all accounting and operational accounting functions are being performed in the most effective and efficient fashion, while conforming to the Standard Operating Procedures of the Company
  • Aiding in the processes which ensure accurate, timely financial statements for the location
  • Maintaining a pleasant and collaborative attitude towards customers, co-workers, and management
  • Adhering to the Legends Global and venue company policies
  • Completing other duties assigned by management

Qualifications

  • Education, Preferred Qualifications, And/or Experience: Associate’s degree in accounting or finance, preferred One to three years of accounting experience to include accounts receivable, accounts payable, payroll. (Food service environment preferred)
  • Math, organizational, quick addition, good communications
  • Fast learner
  • Experience in Microsoft Professional Office
  • Organized work behavior ability to jump from task to task and prioritize as needed
  • Personable, can handle typical stress from deadlines, etc.

  • Ability to communicate effectively in both oral and written form

Benefits

Competitive salary, $24.00-$26.00 per hour commensurate with experience.

Schedule

Available to work part time days (between 10-15 hours weekly; seasonally (spring/summer/fall))
