Accounting Clerk (Part Time)

::: {testid="richTextElement"} About The Role ::: ::: {testid="richTextElement"} Nature of Position: Broad knowledge of General Accounting is needed. Responsibilities :::
  • Prepare day-to-day financial transactions, including check writing, credit card entry, and bank deposits
  • Verify, classify, compute, post, and accurately record accounting data
  • Maintain files and documentation thoroughly and accurately, in accordance with company policy and accepted accounting practices
  • Auxiliary with accounts payable processing and vendor communications
  • Research, resolve, and communicate any discrepancies or outstanding balances on accounts
  • Auxiliary with audit support and other accounting duties as required

  • High school diploma or GED
  • Two years office experience preferred
  • Strong computer skills including Microsoft Windows and Office programs (Word and Excel)
  • Experience performing mass downloads and data conversion for import into accounting systems from various source systems
  • Experience with accounting platforms is highly desirable
  • Intracorp, PeachTree, Sage 50, Net Suites
  • Excellent customer service to both internal and external customers
  • Willingness to work cooperatively in a team setting
  • Ability to demonstrate accuracy and thoroughness ensuring the highest possible quality
  • Ability to maintain a strong work ethic without direct supervision at all times
  • Effective oral and written communication
