About the Job

In this position, you will perform a variety of maintenance tasks in parks and athletic areas.

Seasonal

Work Schedule

  • Normal work hours: 6:00 a.m. to 2:30 p.m., Monday through Friday
  • Weekends required for special events, such as tournaments.

Work Location

Multiple locations in Colorado Springs, CO

Benefits

The anticipated season is six months long. Total hours worked will not exceed 1,500 annually. Benefits limited to those required by applicable state and federal laws, which include Worker's Compensation, Medicare, Unemployment Insurance, and PERA (Public Employees' Retirement Association).

Minimum Qualifications

  • Six months of experience in irrigation
  • Experience working in maintenance environments

Preferred Qualifications

  • Possess, or obtain upon hire, and maintain a valid, non-probationary driver’s license not subject to restrictions.

Physical Demands

This position requires the ability to work outside in all weather conditions and along high traffic areas. It also requires the ability to stand, sit, stoop, walk, climb, bend, and lift up to 75 pounds frequently.

Additional Information

We Are Looking For Candidates Who Demonstrate Ability to safely operate equipment such as trimmers, edgers, backpack blowers, walk-behind rototillers, and seeders
Ability to safely operate hand and power tools
Ability to safely operate assigned vehicles such as trucks and tractor
