Parking Operations Supervisor 18001
About the role
The Parking Operations Supervisor will provide support and assistance to the leadership and operational oversight of a city's parking accounts. This position will be responsible for identifying revenue-generating locations, maintaining client relationships, and assisting in the management of full-time and part-time employees. Assist with the daily operations of the parking system, including monitoring lots, dispatching team members, and assisting customers. Possibly oversee a small team of direct reports.

- Contribute to the planning, development, and administration of off-street parking facilities and programs
- Participate in long-range planning activities for public parking facilities and parking areas
- Recommend and implement policies and procedures to improve service delivery
- Select, assign, monitor, and evaluate staff engaged in operations
- Monitor expenditures and communicate budget variances to leadership
- Promote safety by adhering to policies and procedures and maintaining audit controls within the unit
Requirements
- High school education and 5 years relevant experience
Qualifications
Ability to function independently as well as work well with others. Excellent verbal/written and presentation skills. Exceptional customer service abilities. Experience with Microsoft Word and Excel. Analytical and problem-solving skills. Demonstrative ability to supervise and properly manage staff. Proactive and independent with the ability to take initiative.
