About The Position
As an Operations Manager, you will lead a team of parking attendants and valets, providing guidance and support to ensure work is performed to the highest standards. This role offers the opportunity to demonstrate leadership skills and contribute to business success.
Responsibilities
- Accountability:
- Manage day-to-day operations, ensuring adherence to procedures and standards.
- Plan personnel utilization, including interviewing, selection, policy compliance, training, supervision, performance reviews, and regulatory adherence.
- Develop and implement operational procedures to optimize efficiency and customer service.
- Oversee daily cash handling and submit accurate reports of collections.
- Manage and maintain parking lot equipment and facilities, including maintenance and damage control.
- Recruit, hire, train, and schedule staff.
- Hold team members accountable for their roles, providing regular performance feedback and evaluations.
- Promote a culture of professionalism, accountability, and exceptional customer service.
- Maintain a safe environment for employees and guests, including vehicle safety and traffic control.
- Oversee facility maintenance, such as key gate arms, parking systems, booths, and signage.
- Ensure cleanliness and appearance of the parking area.
- Profitability:
- Monitor financial performance, including revenue, expenses, and labor costs.
- Implement cost-control measures to maximize profitability while maintaining service quality.
- Identify opportunities for revenue growth through promotions, pricing strategies, or additional services.
- Analyze financial data and optimize staffing levels and pricing structures.
- Set and track key performance metrics related to operational efficiency, customer service, and financial performance.
- Meet or exceed established performance targets.
- Exceptional Service:
- Train and motivate staff to provide exceptional customer service.
- Address customer inquiries, concerns, and complaints professionally and promptly.
- Assess service quality through feedback mechanisms and take corrective actions.
- Ensure guests receive exceptional service and resolve concerns effectively.
- Monitor customer feedback and implement improvements to service quality.
- Communication:
- Foster clear and open communication within the team and with other departments.
- Coordinate with property management to ensure a seamless guest experience.
- Conduct regular staff meetings to relay information and gather input.

Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent education and experience.
- Minimum of 5 years of parking or transportation management experience.
- Strong leadership and management skills.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.
- Physical ability to lift heavy items (50 lbs).
- Financial acumen is a plus.

Pay
$35.00 - $37.00 per hour.
