Parking Facilities Associate - DTW Airport

The Parking Facility Associate is responsible for maintaining the cleanliness and condition of the Detroit Metropolitan Airport parking garage. Key duties include:

1. Performing maintenance and cleaning tasks as per checklists and facility manager/supervisor directives.
2. Walking the garage daily to identify and rectify maintenance issues.
3. Sweeping and picking up around entrances, exits, and stairwells, and cleaning railings on all levels.
4. Painting surfaces as directed, ensuring they are neat and clean.
5. Replacing burnt-out bulbs and applying oil absorbent to spills.
6. Submitting repair requests and checking safety items like gate arms.
7. Maintaining a garage sweep sheet, operating sweepers, scrubbers, and other equipment, and clearing snow.
8. Reporting violations, hazards, and unusual occurrences promptly.
9. Assisting customers and resolving complaints.
10. Maintaining a neat appearance and uniform.

Requirements include a high school diploma or equivalent, facility maintenance, electrical, or painting experience, a valid driver's license, and the ability to lift up to 50 pounds. The position offers a weekly payroll and varies based on availability. Essential functions include clear communication, adaptability, and physical stamina.
