Responsibilities
- Maintain compliance with parking policies.
- Provide customer service by answering questions regarding directions, events, building locations, and parking policies.
- Make parking fee payments using onsite Pay-stations, TEXT2PARK, and QR Code platforms.
- Learn and implement tenant validation programs.
- Issue citations and warnings for non-compliance using a computerized handheld computer or manual tickets.
- Impound, boot, or relocate vehicles as directed.
- Absorb and manage egress at every exit lane.
- Replace parking equipment’s arm gates when needed.
- Assist maintenance staff with duties related to parking program and facility upkeep and maintenance.
- Collect and secure all monies received through parking citation, multi-parking space, TEZ technology, and any other means of collecting parking revenues and fees.
- Assist event staff with activities related to parking for events.
- Assist office staff with activities related to permit sales during peak seasons.
- Perform other related duties as assigned.
Qualifications
- Knowledge of basic bookkeeping or accounting principles.
- Excellent organizational, time management, and problem-solving abilities.
- Strong knowledge of Microsoft office suite, including Outlook, Word, and Excel.
- Ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out detailed but standard written or oral instructions.
- Adaptability to changes in the work environment; ability to deal with change, delays, or unexpected events.
- Ability to use a handheld computer, operate a motorized vehicle, understand and apply parking regulations, interact with others in a courteous and tactful manner, walk for extended periods of time, and work in all weather conditions.
- Must be 18 years of age or older at time of hire.
- Ability to read, write, and interpret the English language.
- Ability to effectively present information in one-on-one and small group situations to customers, clients, supervisors, and other employees of the organization.
- Ability to use clock (standard/military time), calculator (optional) or credit card machine to handle transactions.
- Ability to maintain a pleasant and mannerly demeanor when speaking on the telephone and with the public.
- Ability to effectively respond to customer problems or complaints.
- Initiative-taking with strong personal drive and proven customer service skills.
- Willingness to work a flexible schedule.
- Valid state-issued driver's license with a current address and acceptable driving record, if required.
Benefits
- Full Time at $20.00 hourly rate.
- Special shift requirements may vary depending on the location’s hiring needs.
- Availability to work second shift, third shift, and/or weekends may be required.
Schedule
Tuesday, Wednesday: 8:30am-5pm
Thursday, Friday, Sunday: 12pm-8:30pm
