Cart Associate - DTW Detroit Metro Airport - Full-Time

About the role

Smarte Carte Inc. is seeking a Cart Associate at Detroit Metro International Airport. This full-time position pays $16.43 per hour and requires availability on weekends and holidays.

Responsibilities

• Transport carts from high return areas to high rental areas to ensure availability.
• Perform routine maintenance and cleaning of carts and cart management units.
• Practice safe work behaviors ensuring safety of self, staff, and visitors.
• Provide courteous service in assisting customers.
• Maintain communication and cooperation with co-workers and facility management.
• Perform other duties as assigned.

Qualifications

• 6 months previous work experience.
• Excellent customer service and verbal communication skills.
• Lift 40 lbs., push/pull 75-100 lbs. to move 15 carts simultaneously, walk and stand for duration of shift.
• Ability to get airport badged required.
• Valid Driver License required.
